I just got a call for a flight confirmation. I leave tomorrow at 7 am, heading to Monterrey, and then Saltillo. I’m supposed to meet the CEO and have a chat, know the site around and a bit of the city.

It’s very exciting, let’s hear the offer.

A couple of weeks ago I got an interesting call, I got a proposal to go work to Saltillo, Coahuila. I’ve only been to Cuatro Ciénegas, a touristic place in that state, so I don’t know very much about Coahuila but what Wikipedia and some Couchsurfers have told me. Seems like Saltillo is smaller and more easy going, and hence: cheaper.

Should I leave GDL?

Hoy Ayer fuí a mi primer partido de los poderosos Leones Negros de la UDG. Y vaya qué partido, 3-1 contra los Guerreros de Hermosillo o algo así. Y qué triunfal mi regreso al futbol, tenía como 10 años sin ir al estadio (a ver un partido de fucho al menos, ya que me llevaron hace no tanto a ver a intocables).

Qué buen desmadre se arma en el Jalisco.

Recuerdo hace algunos meses cuando leí en Interneps algo sobre un proyecto relacionado con una foto diaria. Un autorretrato, específicamente.

Se me hizo muy geek, especialmente por el hecho de que el proyecto consistía en subir la foto a un blog. Pero recientemente leí un post de dzoom (Blog de fotografía) que hablaba de la dedicación y perseverancia que implica un proyecto fotográfico. Y lo veo ahora de esa forma, más como un ejercicio de disciplina (además de algo divertido e interesante desde una perspectiva futura).

Y a partir de hoy (bueno, la foto de hoy la cuento como si fuera de ayer) iniciaré con este proyecto. Pero obviamente no pienso subir autorretratos diariamente a Internet.

Perdí 100 pesotes en el poker, y dejé ir 400 :( Bueno, un segundo lugar no es tan malo. Muchos altibajos, me resistí bastante pero al final bailé con Bertha.

My mom called and told me a letter from Google had arrived for me at her place (where I used to live). Wonder what will it be?

I’m a bit concerned about my immediate future. This week I’ll know if a higher goal I have, regarding my professional horizon, is achieved, or… one of lesser height.

I did my share, now it’s time for the gods to smile.

Starting out fresh, again.

No less than a year has gone and I’m finally getting to the end of the strike.

A triumphant come back. Yet I’ll start from scratch and I’ll move the old posts to a new domain.
